Douceur de France: Reviews & Ratings
Great food and experience. My wife and I had been wanting to try it for a while and finally got a chance to go. I'm glad we did. Everything we had was delicious! Our waitress seemed a little unknowledgeable when it came to a couple of menu items I asked for clarification on. We also stopped by the counter on way out to get a couple of to go items and the person helping us there also didn't seem well versed in the items. Even with those two quirks it was a great experience!
My experience at Doceur de France was absolutely exceptional, and Shannon made it even more memorable. From the moment we sat down, Shannon was attentive, warm, and genuinely welcoming. She struck the perfect balance between professionalism and personality, making us feel comfortable and well taken care of throughout the entire meal. The food itself was outstanding. Every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor, clearly made with care and attention to detail. You can tell there’s real pride in the kitchen, and it shows in every bite. It’s rare to find a place where both the food and service are equally impressive, but Doceur de France delivers on both. Shannon elevated the entire experience with her attentiveness, thoughtful recommendationsenice, and great energy. She anticipated what we needed without ever being intrusive, and her recommendations were spot on. Overall, an incredible experience. Amazing food, amazing service, and amazing people. I’ll absolutely be coming back and would highly recommend Doceur de France to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience.
Our server Ellie was really sweet and patient. Very helpful and knowledge about the menu and provided great recommendations. It was a very welcoming and cozy environment. Everything we ordered was amazing. The crème brûlée French toast was very fluffy and tasted creamy, not overly sweet. The salmon tartine was superb. The egg was so fluffy and it blended really well with the bread underneath that was soaked in the flavor of the cream cheese. Very good portion size for the price. High recommend this place to everyone. Definitely coming back.
Douceur De France is a wonderful restaurant and extremely well managed and operated. Went at 10:30 on a Sunday, which has to be the busiest time of the week and it took us about 10 minutes to get a table for a party of 5. The bakery items are outstanding. All of the dishes were fresh and looked beautiful - however, I could see some people feeling like the dishes lack seasoning (I don’t mean flavor, I mean seasoning/salt). However, the dishes are still very high quality.
Today is my first time visiting and I had a great time! I love the food and drink that Shannon recommended to me. I had a savory crepe and creme brûlée latte and they were delicious! Service so quick too. They also have a large selection of pastries which made it very hard to choose but I ended up taking home a pistachio eclair! Yummy! I will definitely come back soon!
Douceur De France in Marietta, GA is a true gem for anyone craving an authentic French café experience. From the moment you walk in, the look and feel transport you straight to France, with a charming, inviting atmosphere that feels both elegant and comfortable. I ordered the Smoked Salmon Tartine, and it was absolutely phenomenal—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. My wife chose the egg sandwich, served on a wonderfully flaky croissant with spinach, and it was nothing short of perfect. Every bite showcased the quality and care put into their food. The customer service was warm and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable, and the overall ambience was calm and relaxing—ideal for a leisurely breakfast or brunch. We also couldn’t help ourselves and grabbed a few pastries on the way out for an “at-home delight,” which was the perfect way to extend the experience. I highly recommend Douceur De France and will definitely be returning.
Lovely place! So cute and the food was so good, hot and fresh. Everything was also reasonably priced with good portion sizes. I got the ratatouille and eggs with andouille sausage, my cousin got the creme brulee French toast. The sausage was perfect, not too spicy. We also tried the Dubai latte and the s'mores latte, so good and perfectly sweet. We had Ellie as our server and she was so nice and attentive, she's a sweetheart! We will definitely be back!
We have visited this location while in the area, it’s one of those places you return to when traveling. The food is absolutely delicious, fresh, made to order with fresh French in house baked goods! And wonder coffee selections. We were greeted and seated promptly, no lines today. We had lattes and the egg croissant with spinach , tomatoes ! Having time to sit and enjoy the morning we order a second coffees, one Napoleon & one Truffle Latte’s! I also ordered 12 pecan shortbread cookies—my favorite every time we visit! The bonus today was to note the sign outside celebrating MLK with our brunch! Love & Peace wins every time! Our server Tatiana was attentive and very pleasant—I appreciate the response and respect she gave to us as seniors! Keep up the great service, food and coffee! Until next time bye for now!
